Mughal road to be thrown open for one way traffic from Wednesday | KNO

Poonch, April 30 (KNO) : A high profile joint team of Mughal Road project department, Mechanical Engineering department and police paid visit to historic Mughal road on Tuesday following which they decided to allow one way traffic on the road from Wednesday. Officials told KNO that a team headed by Chief Engineer of Mughal Roads project department, MA Bhat along with Superintendent Engineer and Executive Engineers of Mughal Roads project departments and officials of traffic police visited the road stretch and took stock of the road situation. Official sources added that during inspection by high level team, main focus was laid on inspection of road in Ratta Chamb Morh, Mansar Morh where road is partially congested as compared to other sites. Meanwhile, official sources said that after joint inspection, it has been decided that one way traffic will be allowed from Wednesday onwards till next order. “Authorities have decided to allow single lane traffic from Poonch to Srinagar on Wednesday.” said officials.(KNO)
